Indicator - Simson motorcycle

As part of a professional work I had to texture this indicator of a Simson motorcycle. The aim was to make it as realistic as possible and especially to improve my texturing skills. The file was provided as a CAD mesh so I first had to convert it to a proper polygonal mesh with a good UV setup. As this indicator is used for non-realtime rendering the focus did not lie on performance but photorealism. So I created UDIMs for different parts of the indicator which made texturing and adjusting way easier for me. Substance Painter is a nice tool to work with UDIMs. I really wanted the textures to be as realistic as possible with lots of small details. The orange glass was the most difficult part as it has to be not completely opaque. Although I had lots of trouble with this I am pretty happy about the result. :)
